Mr. Amit Bhadur Chand, an MBA graduate, brings with him over 22 years of rich experience and in-depth expertise in the banking sector. Over the course of his career, he has held several key positions at Global IME Bank Limited (erstwhile Bank of Kathmandu), demonstrating strong leadership and operational capabilities across diverse areas of banking.

Mr. Chand has extensive exposure to various critical functions within the bank, having served as Head of International Trade & Correspondence Banking, Segment Manager – Corporate Credit, Head of SME Banking, and Province Manager. His strategic insight, combined with hands-on experience in both retail and corporate banking, has significantly contributed to institutional growth and service excellence.

With a solid foundation in finance and a proven track record in managing high-performing teams, Mr. Chand continues to play a vital role in shaping progressive banking practices and driving results.

Mr. Jalaj Kumar Adhikari

Mr. Jalaj Kumar Adhikari is a seasoned banking professional with over 30 years of extensive experience in the financial sector. He holds an MBA from Shankar Dev Campus and has demonstrated consistent excellence throughout his career, starting from the Assistant level at Samjhana Finance Limited.

Mr. Adhikari rapidly advanced in his profession, taking on a range of significant and respected roles at Mahalaxmi. His deep understanding of the banking landscape, combined with his commitment to operational excellence, has earned him recognition as a dynamic and results-driven leader.

He possesses strong expertise in Credit, Marketing, Operations & Human Resource Management, and Sales Strategy, along with a solid grasp of overall banking operations. His ability to align business goals with customer-centric services has been instrumental in driving growth, operational efficiency, and organizational development.

Mr. Anuj Acharya

Mr. Anuj Acharya is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of comprehensive experience in the banking sector. Throughout his career, he has developed specialized expertise in Internal Audit, Finance & Planning, Relationship Management, and Merger & Acquisition, among other key areas.

Mr. Acharya has contributed to the success of several prominent commercial banks in Nepal, including Standard Chartered Bank Nepal, where he held critical roles that enhanced efficiency and strategic growth. His strong analytical background and cross-functional experience enable him to deliver value-driven insights and solutions across various domains of banking.

With a deep understanding of both regulatory frameworks and strategic financial management, Mr. Acharya continues to be a valuable asset in fostering sustainable banking practices and innovation.

Mr. Subash Joshi

Acting Assistant Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Subash Joshi, an MBA graduate from MIT School of Management, Pune, India, brings over 17 years of dynamic experience in the Banking sector, with a proven track record of driving growth, fostering innovation, and ensuring operational excellence.

Throughout his career, Mr. Joshi has been actively involved in key strategic areas including Sales, Marketing, Risk Assets Quality Management, Performance Assurance, along with Overall Business Growth and Development. His leadership approach and analytical insights have contributed significantly in enhancing Institutional Performance and adding Customer Value.

Mr. Joshi started his banking career with former KIST Bank Limited and then worked at Global IME Bank Limited. He later joined NIC Asia Bank Limited, where he worked for 8 years in a Senior leadership role. He headed as a Chief of Province Office as well as Head of Performance Assurance at the Bank.

His diverse experience across multiple institutions highlights his adaptability, strategic thinking, and deep understanding of Nepal’s banking landscape.
